Our Story

TeamNewsHour (TNH Digital Media) is a Multi-Platform Digital Media Startup created with an honest intent to not only Deliver the Logical Merit Based Perspective on current affairs, but also make a difference, on the Ground through various social initiatives. We are available on Twitter Spaces, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and our Digital Media portal. 

Our Values :

1. Nation First. No Compromise. 

2. We firmly believe that A Good Speaker has to be an excellent listener. If one can’t listen others patiently, you have no business telling others what to do. 

3.  We believe in Constructive Brainstorming rather than a point scoring ego-ridden slugfest. 

4. The time invested by our Patrons, Speakers, Audience, Viewers and Readers on our Various forms of Media must add a productive value rather than negative sense of gloom, anger or helplessness. 

5. We hear the term – “Ecosystem” Being thrown around often loosely. We believe that We are the Ecosystem, if we empower each member of our Patrons. 

6. We are accused of coming with an Agenda. We strongly agree as We alway do come with an Agenda. Any discussion without an agenda is a waste of time. 

7. Most importantly our biggest USP is that In traditional Media, the Narrative flows from top to bottom, one way only. In our medium, the Narrative is definitely common people and flows upwards towards the influencial/Accountable people. We are the Pioneer of this 2 ways flow. 

8. We always emphasize on looking at events from a holistic perspective, and not in isolation keeping our emotional reactions aside.

9. If You focus on doing good, you won’t need to “fight” for doing good.

Background:

We casually started our journey in the world of Twitter Spaces and got together with like minded people to volunteer ourselves for the cause of utilizing this medium to facilitate a simple, meaningful rational discussion among all the participants. we host Daily Spaces on Twitter (#TeamNewsHour) covering Politics, Current Affairs, Defence, and social news/topics. We kept things honest, simple, rational and mature, and this is what gave us a great response and inspiration to elevate ourselves into full fledged professional Media group. 

A key element of our ambition is YouTube, for which we have started our YouTube channel – TeamNewsHour. 

Since last one year, we have been hosting daily Space which also includes a weekly interaction series on Twitter Spaces called “Soldier Speaks”,where Civilians like us get to know our veterans and their inspiring stories/experiences of our soldiers from Army, Navy, Air Force, police and Paramilitary forces. 

So far some of the distinguished guests we have hosted include India’s 1st Astronaut Wg Cdr Rakesh Sharma, Lt Gen Syed Ata Hasnain, Family members of PVC Capt Vikram Batra and Col Ashutosh Sharma, PVC (Hon) Capt Yogendra Singh Yadav ji, Fmr DGP UP Vikram Singh among the defence personnel, and among civilians, we are frequently joined by Vishnu Shankar Jain ji, Prof Kapil Kumar sir, MR Venkatesh sir, Aditya Raj Kaul, Lalit Ambardar sir, Ramnik Mann. 

TNH on Twitter Spaces:

Twitter Spaces as a medium is slightly different than YouTube or TV as it’s basically a virtual TalkRoom and Voice only and open to everyone on Twitter, and we can pick upto 10 persons at a time to interact with you and basically you can take it from your mobile being relaxed as it’s without video. We are very vigilant that Mike opportunity is given only to Genuine people. 

Just to add, So far, all our efforts have been on voluntary (Zero transactional) basis.
